Olympics
10 Male Dancers
Gerald Arpino notes: “This ballet is a tribute to the Olympics. Judgment at the Olympics was based always…on grace, beauty, rhythm and style. Emphasis on well-rounded training of mind and body created a culture and way of life that influenced subsequent civilizations down to our own. Dancing in the Greek times was a form of athletics and as such was used to strengthen and tone up the body.”
