A romantic and classical work in the traditional pas de deux form. L’Air d’Esprit is a tribute to the great ballerina, Olga Spessivtzeva, one of Nijinski’s partners before the fall of Czarist Russia. The music by Adolphe Adam is from a seldom-heard section of Giselle.
